north country hunting beagle association.-Snowdawgs-

the purpose of this association is to promote the great hunting beagle. all serious breeders and hunters of HUNTING beagles are welcome. this club is not for fair weather hunters or fair weather dogs. its NOTabout chasing rabbits in a pen in the summer time.

the purpose of this association is to discuss ,share information ,develop,breed,and promote a hunting beagle. a dog that doesnt care if its too wet ,too dry ,too cold, too windy etc etc etc. he especially dont care about barometers,dew points and low pressure or wind out of the east. we the members of the nchba feel that the beagle breed need more dogs that can run a hare or rabbit in the bitter cold ,or on crust or in other words run a hare in the real world in the winter time in northern usa.

this is a brand new club . Please join if you feel like there's too many hot nosed beagles in the world . you are invited to join. if you have a snow dog or have ever hunted with one please join .as of right now there are no dues or official meetings. it wont cost you a dime, sign your name in my guestbook and you are a member. you can leave e-mail and phone number. and any ideas or info you would like to share. i also have a message board on this site that can be used for this purpose. a few houndsmen working together can reverse the trend thats happening with beagles.

champion degrees. there is one title available right now. SNOW DAWG . as this club is established we will work out the details of this title but it wont be easy to get .we are looking for input on best way to do this or if it even nessecary to do so.

update 04/07     ok so 2 years have gone by --   everybody is talking about snowdogs now-   big feud at better beagling which is just plain stupid-- but at least i know that people care about dogs that can run in the winter - - lol

hunters in the north need to breed beagles that can run everyday in the winter regardles of conditions and not put so much on the dogs that can run in a large pack in the summer - im real pleased with the response ive gotten and people ive met interested in real rabbit dogs    group at yahoo is kinda dead-- but i hear from most members -- lets keep this going --
